Painted Furniture for Sale

Welcome to the Painted Furniture for sale page. It is my plan to offer for sale unique pieces of quality furniture that I have sourced, sprayed or hand-painted.

Please don’t confuse my painted furniture with the chalk-painted furniture you would find for sale on eBay. I have used chalk paint in the past and when carried out properly it can look fantastic. The problem is chalk paint is marketed as the no prep needed paint. No matter what paint is used all furniture should be properly prepared and that usually includes a stain-blocking primer on old furniture to prevent tannings and knots bleeding through.
The paint I use is the same paint as I use on my kitchens, it is an interior and exterior waterborne, matt acrylic enamel, with high durability. This paint can usually be tinted to any colour.

All of my furniture is properly prepared using the appropriate materials, primers, and stain blockers.
When painting newer pieces of furniture I use professional trade primers and Trade kitchen and furniture paint.
When creating decoupage or more aged piece of furniture I can use a number of paints. I then protect these paints with lacquer in a finish to suit the furniture.
When working at my workshop on kitchen doors, I have time to work on furniture between coats, this allows me to finish the furniture in stages saving time on labour costs.

As I am a full-time Painter specialising in Hand Painted and Sprayed Kitchens, I offer painted furniture when good pieces of furniture can be sourced and my time allows.

Black Oak Vintage Dressing Table

Vintage Dressing Table finished in Black and natural wood. This piece of furniture would be at home in almost any room of the house. The oak has been taken back and finished with 3 coats of matt lacquer (10% sheen) and the frame panels and mirror surround have been prepared, primed, and finished with 2 coats of black enamel.

This is a vintage piece of furniture with the usual knocks associated with furniture of its age. Now refurbished and given a new lease of life to last for years to come.

Black Decoupage Vintage Rustic TV Unit/Sideboard

A multi-functional piece of furniture but originally made as a TV unit with holes in the back. This came to me heavily painted of which as much paint was removed as possible. This is a heavy piece of furniture made from hardwood.

This piece has been stripped, stain blocked, primed, and painted inside and out. It has been finished in black enamel (10% sheen) with the door and drawer panels finished with decoupage and multiple coats of lacquer (10% sheen).

This is a vintage rustic and heavy piece of furniture with the usual knocks associated with furniture of its age. Now refurbished and given a new lease of life to last for years to come.

National Delivery

You are welcome to arrange your own courier. If you would like to arrange your own collection and delivery via your own courier, please be advised that I cannot take responsibility for the item once collected from my workshop. As I am not always at my workshop, collections by your courier can be made by prior arrangement.

Payment

Payments are accepted in cash or Bank Transfer. If you are collecting the furniture yourself then cash on collection or bank transfer prior to collection. If using a courier or having myself deliver payment is needed before delivery or courier collection

Returns

The furniture is sold as seen. We describe all of our items as accurately as possible with true unedited pictures. If you are unable to view and you wish to view more pictures, I am happy to provide these for you for your peace of mind.

The furniture is delivered locally by myself or collected from my workshop by your courier. It will leave my workshop or be delivered by myself in good refurbished condition. I am afraid I do not accept returns for measurement mistakes, change of mind, for damages after the furniture has been collected by your courier or after I have delivered to your home.
